Gloss n Sparkle Goblins Grave

Hey girls,
Well well well, I haven't posted in over a week :o silly me! I've been so busy lately and just haven't been able to sit down and write down a review but I did this swatch a couple of days ago! Before I start, I'd like to say this is my first polish from this brand and I have no idea why I took so long to purchase from Gloss n Sparkle.

Goblin’s Grave is a dark green jelly base with lime, turquoise and charcoal holographic, and black hex glitter
Here is two coats over a green undie. The polish is very sheer and I tried it by itself but after 4 coats there was still vnl that I didn't like. The glitter is dense and made application a little tricky but it's still workable! This polish is absolutely beautiful :)

Unfortunately this polish isn't available anymore but you HAVE to check out all the other beautiful polishes, wax melts and yummy cuticle cream Gloss N Sparkle has to offer. You can take a look on her Internet page http://www.glossnsparkle.net/

Peita's Polish Labels Or Love

Hey girls,
Today I have my first polish from Peita's Polish to show you all today! Yet again, like last time this polish was from the What's In-die box and is no longer available for purchase which is a same because this one is GORGEOUS!

Labels Or Love is a total glitter bomb! - hex, circle, square & heart glitter in a very sheer pink/red base.
Here is 2 coats over a red undie.. Can you see how much glitter comes out of that bottle?! The application was excellent, no fishing for glitter and it went on so easy. The brush was perfect too. It's wide and picks up all the gorgeous glitter very well! Considering the amount of glitter it dried relatively smooth with no glitter sticking up and catching onto anything. This baby is so sparkly and pretty in the sun & I totally adore it! Sooo cute too
Like I said, this polish isn't available anymore :( BUT you can still check out all of the other polishes Peita's Polish has to offer. I know I'll be making an order very soon, click hereto take a look.

Arcane Lacquer - Allhallows Eve

Hi girls,
Yay, nail post! Today I'll be showing you a polish that I bought in a blog sale a while ago. Before I show you this polish, I just want to say that it is no longer up for sale. It was included in the ' What's Indie Box ' for October. It's a box that has 5 indies that are exclusive to that months box. Anyway, let's go..

Allhallows Eve, a unique mix of metallic square and hex glitter in a black jelly base.
Here is 4 thin coats with Seche Vite topcoat. The polish application was really good, there was so fishing for glitters and it went on very smoothly. The base is a little thin but it doesn't effect the application in anyway. I love how all the glitter just pops in the sun, but then again I love colored glitter in a black base!

As you can tell, I absolutely LOVE this polish. It's actually meant to be a Halloween polish, but I don't see anything scary about it ;) hahaha. You could wear this anytime of the year, it's just so pretty. As I said, this polish is no longer available but Arcane Lacquer has a lot of other gorgeous polishes in range. You can check them out by clicking here..

It's Been A Year!

Hi girls,
No new nail posts today but I have some very exciting news to share with you all, I'm very happy to announce it's been a YEAR since I started doing nail art. I joined Instagram early Jan 2013 and posted one of my very first mani's that week.

Since one of the first mani's was a New Years resolution, I thought, why not try and recreate the look. Funny story really, my 2013 resolution is my 2014 resolution as well - continue getting good grades at school so I can work towards having a career as a Forensic Scientist when I'm older.

Here's my art work back in Jan 2013;
  Eeek, embarrassing right? Horrible lighting, awkward hand pose, yucky cuticles, poor application skills and the art is just horrible! Yuck

Here is my recreation, 6th Jan 2014;
Ahh, so much better! Good lighting, better hand pose, nice cuticles, good clean up and my skills have improved so much.

I can't believe how different these mani's are and they're only one year apart! Can you imagine another comparison picture in another year or two? I love how I can look back at old pictures and try to figure out what I need to improve on in the future. In saying that, this year I want to try more detailed art and get the bad thoughts out of my head and tell myself " I CAN DO IT! ".

Thankyou to everyone who has supported me this past year. It's crazy to think that I, a 14 year old, joined Instagram as @nailpolishaddicted1 a year ago to hide her passion from her friends is now showing her love to over 3300 followers around the world. Thankyou so much everyone for a fantastic year, I can't wait to see what 2014 will bring!

Emily De Molly When Planets Collide

Hi girls,
It's finally 2014! Today I'll be showing you my first swatch of the year with a polish from Emily De Molly.  I bought this from a Blog Sale and this polish isn't available for purchase anymore :(

When Planets Collide, a mix of blue and orange glitter in a sheer black base.
Here is two coats over a black with topcoat. The base is really sheer, which is why I layered over a base colour. I did try it alone but it got really thick and was still patchy after 4 coats. I really like it like this anyway! Application was pretty good, not many of the orange glitter came out but it gives it a sparse look.
Emily De Molly has a great range of other colours and a variety of stamping plates, you can check them out by clicking here. Hayley is having a sale on her stamping plates so make sure to have a look at them too!
