Glam Polish - Mars Attack

Hi girls,
Today I have my last blog post of the year to share with you and it's another Glam Polish beauty. I can't believe 2013 is nearly over, it's just so surreal. It also marks one year since I joined the nail art community which is pretty crazy!

Mars Attack, matte turquoise, peach, watermelon & yellow with neon pink green & blue glitter in a mint base.

This is 3 coats topcoat, application was pretty good but the butterflies were a nightmare to try to get out! The polish also dried a little lumpy and uneven, but the top coat smoothed it all out anyway.
Mars Attack is currently on sale, as well as a couple of other polishes. Don't forget to check them out by clicking here

Wow, pretty boring last post hey. In 2014, hopefully I'll be better at swatching, taking pictures and blogging about polishes. I think I need to work on those three things as well as my nail art skills. 2013 has been a great year for me, I joined the nail art community, made many friends, started my own blog, started a indie polish line, won competitions and lastly, had fun while doing what I love! Thankyou all so much :)

Glam Polish - Christmas In Whoville

Hi girls,
Today I have another Glam Polish to show you, I actually wasn't going to post this yesterday or today BUT then I realized it's the one and only Christmas polish I purchased this year!

Christmas In Whoville has mixture of silver, pink, green and blue glitter in a baby blue base
Here is three coats with topcoat although it was opaque in two. Application was really good but I did a little fishing for the stars which is often the case for unique shaped glitter. There's nothing really to complain about here haha
Glam Polish doesn't actually have this is the bigger bottles and I'm pretty sure you can't buy it because I got it free with my order but feel free to look at all of Rachel's creations by clicking here

I would also like to say Merry Christmas! It's Boxing Day here in Australia already but I didn't get a chance to post yesterday as I was SO busy with family lunch and dinner. I hope everyone has had or is having an awesome holiday. I also did these Christmas nails for the occasion, enjoy.

Review- Pretty Pots Polishes

Hi girls,
Well, I've been a very busy girl these last couple of days because I was swatching a couple of the polishes from Pretty Pots Polish new collection, due to officially release early January. First off, I want to say how well all of the polishes came packed. All in their own little box and then wrapped with the cutest tissue paper!

First off we have Burlesque Baby, a unique mix of glitters including stars, dots and diamonds in a sheer pink jelly base.

Here is 4 coats on its on topped with GG. As you can see, the base is very sheer and you need a good couple of thick coats to cover the nail completely. You could always wear this over a base colour aswell. Application was good, I didn't do any fishing for glitters as there is so many! I really like this one.

Next is up is Katniss, a mixture of red, black, silver and white glitter aswell and tiny little bar glitter in a peachy or pastel orange base

Here is two coats with GG topcoat, application was easy and the glitter came out so easy too! No fishing at all, which is always a bonus. Looking at the bottle, I didn't really like the polish but it looks amazing on the nails. Never judge a polish by the bottle, lol. This also reminds me if something, but for the life of me I can't think what!

Now we have Imaginarium, a mix of blue, green, yellow and orange glitter in a milky white base
Here is three coats with GG topcoat, application was a little tricky with this one. I found it to be on the thicker side and the glitter was quite dense. I love how the yellow glitter stands out in this polish though, it's so different and eye catching!
Second last we have Breakfast at Tiff's, a mixture of gold square glitter and silver holo sparkle in a gorgeous aqua base

Here is two coats with GG topcoat, although I probably should of just stopped with one coat. It was opaque in one, but I wanted more glitter and the second coat totally covered the first  :( I absolutely adore the colour of this one, and the glitter compliments it so well. This is one of favourites from the polishes Jalene sent me.

Lastly, we have Queen Bee Wannabe which has a mixture of pink, purple, silver and blue glitter in a pink base
Here is three coats with GG topcoat, application for this was perfect. Absolutely no fishing for glitter, infact the stars came out so easily. This is my favorite of the whole collection and it's not hard to see why! The base, the glitters, the quality, it's just an amazing polish and oh so girly!

Overall, all these polishes are amazing and you defiantly need them so watch out for the release in 2014, which I'm sure will be a great year for Pretty Pots Polish as their polish will be available to purchase from Beauty So Fly in the new year! I'm so happy I've been apart of Jalene, the owner and creator of Pretty Pots Polish, journey into the indie polish buisness and I will always do my best to help her out in any way I can. You can check out her store by clicking here. Although its currently closed until the new year!

Review- Glam Polish Neon Nubs

Hey girls,
Today I have another Glam Polish too show you. I really like this polish, not only because of the colour and glitter but because it was a collaboration polish with the lovely Elissa from Ten Little Nubs! Who just so happens is my favourite blogger.

Neon Nubs, neon blue hex, neon green hex & neon pink hex and stars in a light blue base.

This is two coats with two coats of GG topcoat. Application was really good, I didn't have to fish for any glitter and they just glided on perfectly. They stuck out a little but the topcoat smoothed it all out. The base is very opaque so you have to do thin coats or the glitter will go missing! - haha. I absolutely LOVE this polish, it's probably one of my favourites.
This polish is currently in stock, and trust me, if you like the colour baby blue and neon colours then you NEED this polish. You can check out the Glam Polish store by clicking here :)

Review- Glam Polish Freak Show

Hello girls,
Today I have, yes another, polish to show you from the Brand Glam Polish. I am happy to finally be able to wear this as it has been on my indie polish wish list since it was released.

Freak Show, blue & fern dots with neon blue, neon green and fern hex glitter in a white crelly base. My base leaned towards being yellow-ish green-ish, probably because of the neon glitter. This doesn't seem to bug me that much, though.

Here is 3 coats with GG topcoat ( which I'm nearly running out of! 😥 ). Application was okay, the dots came out easily but they were quite dense and stuck together. The dots also made the polish dry uneven and bumpy, although topcoat fixes that!

This is currently in stock in Rachel's shop, she also released a new collection a couple days ago so don't forget to check them out too! To visit the Glam Polish store, click here.

Review: Glam Polish Frankenslime

Hi girls,
SCHOOL'S OUT, SCREAM AND SHOUTTT! Haha, so yes. Today was the last day of school and what other way to celebrate it then painting my nails with one of my new polishes from the Aussie indie brand, Glam Polish.

Frankenslime, neon green and metallic purple glitter in a green base.
Here is three coats with GG topcoat, application was just a breeze. No fishing for glitter and dried surprisingly quick. I absolutely LOVE this polish and it's so unique. Not a huge fan of green but this, oh my gosh! It's just gorgeous..
Glam Polish has some amazing polishes and if you don't have any of Rachel's polishes, you need some in your life, seriously. Check out all her polishes by clicking here. She is also selling to the US now :)

Review- Glam Polish Ticks and Tocks, sir

Hey girls,
I'm so excited to finally be able to swatch just one of the polishes I purchased from Glam Polish a couple of weeks ago. I purchased another three and Rachel added another two polishes to my order so expect to see a lot of Glam Polish on my blog in the next couple of weeks!

Ticks & Tocks sir, has neon matte pink and matte white glitter in a purple base
Here is three coats with GG topcoat, application was alright. I did have to place the larger hex and the white rectangles but that's no big fuss.
I actually didn't realize how bad my swatch photos actually are but this polish is so beautiful! Unfortunately this polish is discontinued and out of stock so you are no longer able to purchase it, not to fear though! Rachel has a lot of other beautiful polishes are are available to purchase here

Review- Pretty & Polished Back To The Fuchsia

Hi girls,
I have been so busy tonight doing homework I nearly forgot to post my review on yet another, Pretty and Polished thermal. I am so happy to finally post this, a link to purple thermal was number one on my wish list. I wish I had gotten one with out glitter but hey, at least I have one now.

Back To The Fuchsia is a pink to purple thermal with pink and purple glitter.
This is in the cold state which I prefer. Here is 3 coats, it applied so easily and I didn't have any problems. The larger pink hex was a little hard to get out but I prefer the polish without them anyway.
Here's the polish in the warm state, it's such a shame the pink glitter basically becomes invisible in this colour base. I absolutely love this polish and I can see myself wearing this polish, a lot! This is available right now and you can purchase ' Back To The Fuchsia ' at http://www.shopprettyandpolished.com/

Review- Rainbow Honey, Delush Polish & Arcane Lacquer

Hi girls,
So today's post is a little different to what it normally is. I'll be showing you THREE different brands in the one post! The reason for this is, you can purchase all three brands from the one store. I'll tell you more about that a little later on, now onto the polishes..

The first one is made by Rainbow Honey and is called ' Cetra '. Cetra is a sheer pink jelly packed with shimmer and iridescent glitter.
This is 4 coats topped with GG topcoat. I didn't have any problems with the application and considering this is 4 coats I didn't have any problems with drying time either. My only complain isn't about the actual polish it's self but the content of it. My bottle wasn't filled up all the way, which is quite disappointing.
The next polish is made by Delush Polish and is called ' Teal Death Do Us Part '. Teal Death Do us Part is a teal creme with holographic gold and pink glitters as well as teal and lavender.

Here is two coats with a coat of GG topcoat. The base is quite opaque and the glitters don't really show through, which sucks. Application wasn't the easiest with this polish as it was quite thick and hard to work with. It's such a pretty colour, but I'd think twice before wearing this again.

My last polish to show you is made by Arcane Lacquer and is called ' Lonely Dreamed '. Lonely Dreamer is a shimmery taupe creme with small gold glitter.

Here is two coats topped with GG topcoat. This polish was a little on the thick side but it didn't affect the application in anyway, it went on like butter. This isn't a colour I would normally wear, but strangely I love it. I actually wore it for 2 days -which is long for me haha!

All three polishes are available to purchase from Femme Fatale Cosmetics. Not only do they sell their own line they carry a lot of other different brands that us Aussie's can't get our hands on. Sophie, the owner also carries her own line of eyeshadow! You can check out her store by clicking here

Review: Petal Polish

Hi girls,
Today I'll be sharing a fairly new indie polish brand based in Australia. Petal Polish officially launched a couple weeks ago with five shades & in this blog post I'll be showing you just two of them.

First up is Cherry Blossom, holographic gold hex glitter, larger pink holographic hex glitter, hot pink matte hex glitter, and micro specs of gold glitter dust in a clear base.

This is two easy coats over black. I was so happy with the application of this! The wide brush made it a dream to apply and I did no fishing for glitter, at all. Although, I did have to place the larger hex but that's just me, being me. Overall, I love this polish and I can defiantly see myself wearing this again!

Next up is Alyssum, small matte white hex, bigger matte white hex and holographic silver micro glitter in a clear base.

Here is two coats over a baby pink. Again, the application was good and I did no fishing for glitter. The only complaint I have is  that the glitter kind stuck together and didn't want to spread out but it doesn't really effect me. I love how this gives such a soft look, this baby looked awesome in the sun but I couldn't capture the sparkle! :(

That's all I have to show you today unfortunately BUT  Petal Polish is currently having a launch sale.. Buy 2, get the third free! Don't miss out on this awesome sale, you can check out their shop by clicking here.

Review: Pretty & Polished May Flowers

Hey girls,
Today I have yet another thermal from the brand Pretty & Polished!

May Flowers is a colour changing polish that changes from green to white and has a mixture of hex, circle, and daisy shapes in different colours.

Here is 4 coats and is in it's cold state. Application was really good except I didn't get any daisies out, even though I fished for them! Although, a lot of the other glitter came but didn't crowd the nail and I pleasantly surprised by that :)

Here it is in it's warm state, there's nothing really anything else to say about this polish because I don't have any complaints about this polish! You can purchase May Flowers & many others from Pretty & Polished by clicking here.

Review: Indee Polish Co Bizaare Bazaar

Hi girls.
Today I have a polish to show you made by the lovely Sandii who owns and is the creator of Indee Polish Co. I have swatched for this brand once and am happy to help out again  because it just so happens that Sandii and I are the same age :)

Bizaare Bazaar is described as a deep purple pigment base with red-gold colour shifting pigment sheen and multi coloured mini squares scattered through.

Here is 4 thin coats and a topcoat. Application was alright, the squares a little hard to get a clean finish around the cuticles, but thats just me being picky! I absolutely love love looove the base colour in this, I would love a polish like it by itself.. * hint hint *.
See that purple base? Oh so gorgeous! This shows the colour shift in the polish aswell although it's not very strong in person anyway.
Well that's all I have for now, if you would like to purchase this polish and money others from Sandii you can click here. Oh, I have exciting news to share with you all too. Sandii & I will be creating a collection together so keep your eyes open :)

Review: Pretty and Polished Tomboyish

Hi girls
Today I have a very old indie polish brand to show you! You may remember this brand from one of my very first blog posts, yep you got it.. Today I have a polish to show you from the brand ' Pretty & Polished '. I'm also excited to show you this because it's my very first thermal, eeek!

Tomboyish is describes as a creamy teal when cold to a rainy blue when warm but I'd have to disagree, because unless I'm colour blind my polish wasn't teal, nor blue. It was more of a gray-ish to an olive green. It also has holographic sparkle.

Here it is in it's cold state. I've done 4 coats and there still VNL but that doesn't really bother me. Application was really good, so was drying time.

Here's the polish in the warm state. I loooove this shade of green, I have never really seen a polish quite like it before.

Lastly, here's a picture in the sun to show the true colour and the holographic sparkle. In my opinion it's not very holographic at all but it's still really pretty. You could say I was very disappointed with this polish as it's nothing like what it is described as on the website. The picture is nothing like the polish either, maybe they changed their formula or their pigment completely. I'm not too sure.. Although I wasn't expecting these colours, I must say I do love this polish!! You can grab your own buy clicking here.

Emily De Molly Oceanic Forces

Hi girls!
Today I have my last polish from Emily De Molly to show you :(. Never fear! That's just an excuse to buy more of Hayley's beautiful creations..

Oceanic Forces has hex glitter in three different sizes aswell and BIG DOTS.
Here I've done 3 thin coats with Glossy Glam topcoat. I probably should of added another coat of polish since in some lighting it's actually very blotchy. That's just my poor application skills, I'm sure! Other then that application was super easy and and I didn't have to fish for those beautiful dots which I was pleasantly surprised by.
I wish I got better photos of this polish, it's so pretty and sparkly in person! I hope to get the other ' Forces ' soon because I am in love with this one. Why are you still reading this? Go and grab yourself a bottle or two by clicking here

Review: PANC Brain Freeze

Hey girls!
Yes, I have yet another polish from the incredibly talented indie line, Polish Addict Nail Color. I hope you aren't getting bored of her polishes yet! I know I'm not :)

Brain Freeze has a mix of neon glitter in a nude base.
Here I have done 3 thin coats with Seche Vite on top. I probably should of added another coat of Seche because the larger glitter stick out just a little. I really had to fish for the glitter but I think I prefer how the glitter is spread out. Other then that, application was pretty good.
Guess what? A lot of PANC polishes are still on sale and are only $5! Don't miss out in this awesome deal and check out their store by clicking here

Review- Emily De Molly Sweet As

Hello girls!
Today I have yet another EdM polish to show you all. This is probably one of the girliest polishes I own and I must admit I love it! Lets get on with it, shall we?

Sweet As has a mix of pink, silver and white glitters in a baby pink base.
Here I have done three thin coats but I easily could of done just two thick coats. I've topped this off with two coats of Seche Vite because the large neon pink hex glitter tends to stick up a little bit. I didn't have any trouble with the application or drying time. I absolutely love the brushes that Hayley's polishes have! They aren't too thin, and they aren't too thick. They're the perfect size to be able to get a clean finish and pick up all the beautiful glitter inside the bottle without having to try.
Not to mention, I also LOVE EdM's labels, they're just so pretty! If your interested in purchasing this polish, and many others from this incredible Aussie indie brand don't be afraid to check out their shop by clicking here. They also now sell stamping plates :)

Review: PANC Neon Nights

Hey girls!
Sorry for posting a day late, I was so busy I completely forgot about it! Today, I have another polish from the indie brand ' Polish Addict Nail Color '.

Neon Nights has a mix of neon, clear and black glitter in a nude base.
Here I've done 4 thin coats with a coat of Glossy Glam topcoat. Application was difficult, I found I had to fish for the circle glitter - I failed miserably and didn't get any at all! The black rectangle glitter came out very easily, but they crowed the nail which means I really had to be careful where I placed them.
Here you can see the the colour of the base correctly. This was a big lemming of mine, but it kind of sucked that I couldn't even get the dot glitter out. To be honest, this polish let me down :( but its still gorgeous and I love it! Anyway, this polish is currently on sale as its getting discontinued, you can check out PANC's store by clicking here.
